Special Indian Mango Shake Recipe

Ingredients:

Squeezed mangoes or mango pulp (available in International/Indian stores) — 1/4 of total quantity desired
Milk (preferably not Skimmed) — 1/2 of total quantity desired
Vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt — 1/4 of total quantity desired
Cardamom — about 1 piece per cup

Directions:

Peel the Cardamom and powder the grains; throw away the peels. Alternatively you can use half a spoon of readily available powdered Cardamom. Add ice cream/frozen yogurt, milk, and mango pulp to the blender and blend them for about 2 minutes. Add Cardamom to the milk shake and blend it again for a few seconds. Refrigerate the milk shake and serve with or without ice.

Thanksgiving Special: Butternut Squash With Apples And Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 pounds butternut squash (about 2 medium), peeled, quartered lengthwise, seeded, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices (about 6 cups)
  • 2 1/4 pounds medium-size tart green apples (such as Granny Smith), peeled, quartered, cored, but crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices (about 6 cups)
  • 3/4 cup dried currants
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Cook squash in large pot of boiling salted water until almost tender, about 3 minutes.
  • Drain well. Combine squash, apples and currants in 13×9x2-inch glass baking dish.
  • Season generously with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  • Combine maple syrup, butter and lemon juice in heavy small saucepan.
  • Whisk over low heat until butter melts.
  • Pour syrup over squash mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Bake until squash and apples are very tender, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour.

  • 1 part grenadine syrup
    4 parts orange juice
    4 parts pineapple juice
    ice
Instructions:
Mix. Serve over ice.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz pineapple juice
    1 oz coconut cream
    1 oz whipping cream
    1/2 oz grapefruit juice
Instructions:
Shake and strain into a highball glass with cracked ice.

Peached Lassi

  • 1 part Banana
  • 1 part Peach juice
  • 1 part liquid Yoghurt
Method:
  1. Blend equal quantities of yoghurt, peach juice and banana.
  2. Pour in wine glasses with cocktail sticks of orange and banana.
  3. Serve chilled.
  4. Serve: 1

Tip: Always use natural fruit juices.

Chocolate-Vanilla Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ice Cream
  • 70 ml Milk
  • 6 tablespoons chocolate powder
  • 100.0 gram Swiss Almond Chocolate
  • Sugar to taste

Directions Put all ingredients into a blender. Add sugar according to taste. Mix until it becomes a slow moving liquid.

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 packet Rich Milk Chocolate No Sugar Added NESTLÉ® CARNATION® INSTANT BREAKFAST Nutritional Energy Drink

Directions Place milk, strawberries and Carnation Instant Breakfast in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
Makes 1 serving.

Chocolate Peanut Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe medium banana, cut up
  • 1 cup chocolate fat free skim milk
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate or vanilla low-fat ice cream

Directions In a blender container combine banana, chocolate fat free skim milk, and peanut butter. Cover and blend until smooth. Add low-fat ice cream. Cover and blend until smooth.
Pour into tall glasses; serve immediately.
Makes 2 (10-ounce) servings.

Ingredients

  • 2cups Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 tbsp choco chips
  • 1 tbsp peanuts(unsalted)
  • 2 cups milk
  • Ice
  • choco syrup

Directions Fill your blender half full of ice, crush along with choco chips and peanuts. Add the milk and ice cream, and then flavor to taste with the syrup. Enjoy.
